I ask for song and artist requests from the audience.  If I’m even slightly familiar with the request, I can pull up a karaoke track quickly and sing the song. I have a large repertoire of songs that I know and have sung for years—and I’m intimately familiar with even more that I can sing effortlessly if I have the lyrics in front of me. 

I also make mention that I’m a magician and sleight-of-hand artist throughout the evening and will be putting on background music at some point and going table to table for those who want to see astonishing close-up magic. 

When the time is right, I begin my tableside magic.   Short shows right at the customer’s table performing baffling sleight-of-hand magic with ordinary playing cards, coins, and other familiar objects.  Some of the magic even happens right in the spectator’s hand leaving stunned gasps and sometimes even shrieks of delight at the magic that just took place!
